Cody Crisel

A young man in a woodworking workshop, holding a long wooden plank. The workshop has shelves with various paint cans and tools, a window letting in natural light, and woodworking equipment on the workbench.

When Cody was 6 or 7 his Grandpa Dean Olson took him on his first job, it was a mud room addition off the side of a house. He was too young to do much, but it was enough to spark his interest in making a house a home. After Dean would bring him with often and teach him as much as he could in the limited years they had together. Cody has learned most his skills from him and has built Apon those skills on his own. When Dean passed in March 2024, he left Cody his Cabinet shop he works out of today. Today Cody strives to keep Deans legacy alive by sharing those skills with as many families as possible through Labrador Woodworking to make everyone’s house a proper home customized to them.

Outside of Labrador Woodworking he enjoys Fly fishing even tying his own flies with the desk he built alongside his grandpa many years ago. He also loves dogs and games.
